Ireland and Northern Ireland

Ireland and Northern Ireland is a market in testing. Vitreous is reading EirGrid’s lists of contracted generators and ESB Networks’ distribution lists, the whole island as one market on a schedule and checking what it says, and publishes nothing from it until the data passes the same checks as Great Britain’s.

Ireland is one electricity market across the island, so Northern Ireland is read with it. The lists name every generator with a signed connection agreement, with its capacity, node and the date it signed; batteries are among them. Read monthly.
