Reading the fleet.
The next day: what each battery planned, what it was told and what its meter recorded
Every battery’s last 24 hours, against the megawatts it is registered for
One panel is one battery. The grey band is what it is registered to run at, so a panel that fills its band was told to work flat out and a flat line inside a tall band was held at nought. Above the centre line the battery was told to send power out, below it to take power in. The ticks underneath mark the five minutes in which a new instruction arrived from the control room. Every panel is drawn to the same megawatt scale. Click one to open it.

Energy is the area under each panel: what the battery was told to do, not what its meter recorded. Hours are counted in five minute slots. Click a column to sort.
