How we handle your data

We collect as little as we can, use it only for what you asked for, and never sell or share it.

Who is responsible

Vitreous Labs is responsible for the personal data described here. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page.

What we keep

When you ask for a report or sign up for updates, we keep your email address, the organisation you gave if you gave one, the page you signed up on, a short note of where you came from (for example, a link from LinkedIn), and the dates you asked, confirmed and downloaded. We keep nothing else about you.

Why

To send you the report you asked for, because you asked for it. To send you our updates only if you ticked the box and then clicked the link in our email to confirm, because you agreed to it. You can withdraw that agreement at any time with the link at the foot of every update.

Who else handles it

Two companies handle it on our behalf and for no other purpose: Cloudflare, which hosts this site and the database that holds the list, and Resend, which delivers our emails. Either may process data outside the United Kingdom and the European Union; both commit to the safeguards the law requires when they do. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone else.

How long

A report request is deleted 24 months after it was made. Updates continue until you leave the list. When you leave, we keep your address only to make sure it is not added again by mistake.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, and you can object to how we use it. Write to [email protected]. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom or to the data protection authority where you live.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It counts visits with Cloudflare’s web analytics, which does not use cookies. It sets one cookie only if you enter an access key, to keep you signed in to the paid data, and it remembers the page that first brought you here in your browser’s session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.
