Belgium · the batteries Elia schedules, and the rest · Elia’s list of 20 October 2026
Elia schedules 14 batteries in Belgium, 828 MW. Another 1,720 MW is being built, and 946 MW of it is due by the end of 2027.
Elia, the grid operator, publishes every day the list of the units it schedules, and the batteries in it are named. That list is the backbone of this map: each battery in it is joined to its owner’s and builder’s own words. Batteries Elia does not schedule, mostly those on the distribution grids, are added from their owners’ releases, and so are the ones being built and announced. 35 batteries in all, every fact with its source. The Belgium page reads Elia’s list day by day and the meter on the largest; every battery has a page.
Showing every battery the list names. Filter by status, owner, province or whether Elia schedules it, or search a battery, an owner, a builder or a place.

Largest first. Click a row to centre the map on the battery, or open its page for every fact and its source. Power and capacity are as the owner or builder stated them; Elia’s own figure, where it differs, is on the battery’s page. The date is the owner’s stated start, actual for a running battery and expected for the rest. A blank means no source gave it.
