Circle area is the megawatts
The Netherlands · the batteries their owners name, against Statistics Netherlands’ count
The Netherlands publishes no list of its large batteries. Their owners name 31 running, 569 MW, and 892 MW being built.
No Dutch body publishes which large batteries are on the grid: ENTSO-E holds none, the grid operators’ register stops at 1 MW, and Statistics Netherlands counts them and names none. So this map is the batteries their owners, developers and builders have named, in releases, permit notices and the trade press: 64 of them, every fact with its source. The Netherlands page sets them against Statistics Netherlands’ count; every battery has a page.
Showing every battery the list names. Filter by status, owner or province, or search a battery, an owner, a builder or a place.
Every battery named, a megawatt and up
Largest first. Click a row to centre the map on the battery, or open its page for every fact and its source. Power and capacity are as the owner or builder stated them, or the trade press where the owner has not; the date is the stated start. A blank means no source gave it.
