What the sources say

Running since 5 October 2026 per Energy-Storage.news (8 October 2026). Vattenfall's own release (24 April 2025) describes 50 MW / 100 MWh; Energy-Storage.news (25 April 2025) reports Return, Alfen and Vattenfall on a single 100 MW / 200 MWh project and Return lists one Waddinxveen asset, so the Vattenfall figure is treated as Vattenfall's contracted share, not a second battery. Confirmed: dated source says it runs.
