What the sources say
Conflict: 364 MW / 1,457 MWh (Lion Storage, ESN 19 February 2024; ESS News 25 June 2024; still on Return locations page) against 350 MW / 1,400 MWh (Return 18 February 2025, SPIE, Industrielinqs). Earlier target was 2026 operation. Lion Storage is a Return subsidiary, so 'Lion Storage Mufasa' and 'Return Vlissingen 1.4 GWh' are the same project.; Owner figure used: Return release 18 February 2025 (350 MW / 1,400 MWh). Return's live locations page, read 20 October 2026, still shows 364 MW / 1,457 MWh and says Under Construction; that page is undated and repeats the older Lion Storage figures. Return’s release of February 2025 gives 350 MW and 1,400 MWh, the figure shown; its locations page and 2024 permit release give 364 MW and 1,457 MWh, the permitted figure.
