Every line of 110 kV and up as OpenStreetMap maps it (9,011 lines, 1,881 substations, 5,535 more with no voltage mapped left out), read 2026-10-25; the highest voltages at every zoom, the 110 kV web and the substations when zoomed in. Spain · every battery in the State gazette · read to 25 October 2026

The State gazette names 224 battery installations since 2021, 8,195 MW, and 50 of them are authorised to build.

Spain publishes no connection queue with names, so this map is built from the gazette: every act in which the State consults on, assesses, authorises or refuses a battery since 2021, read in full and joined into one row per installation. Each is drawn at the centre of its municipality. Amber is a battery registered to trade on OMIE. The Spain page says what the register shows and what Spain does not publish.

Largest first. Click a row to centre the map on it, or open its page, which lists every act behind it. Power and storage are the battery’s own, from the latest act that authorises it; never the access capacity it shares with a solar or wind plant. The date is the latest step.

Source: Boletín Oficial del Estado, every storage act since 1 January 2021, read to 25 October 2026, each read in full and checked against its own text (es/register/ in the site’s repository). Units allowed to bid: OMIE, read daily since 23 October 2026. Basado en datos de la Agencia Estatal Boletín Oficial del Estado; this is not an official publication. The gazette covers the projects the State authorises: over 50 MW, crossing more than one region, or added to a plant the State authorised. The regions authorise the rest in their own gazettes, which are not yet in this register.
