67 of 67 batteries drawn: 18 at the address their permit gives, the rest at the place their source names or their municipality’s centre (GeoNames). Yellow operates; blue is being built; mid blue holds a permit or an investment decision; pale blue is announced.
Energinet transmission station, capacity map
Hollow rings are Energinet’s 160 transmission stations from its capacity map of 1 February 2026; click one for the room it gives for new production and for new consumption. The map gives 0 MW for new consumption at every station; where to build sets out why that figure is in question.

Every line of 110 kV and up as OpenStreetMap maps it (1,927 lines, 216 substations, 20 more with no voltage mapped left out), read 2026-10-25; the highest voltages at every zoom, the 110 kV web and the substations when zoomed in. Denmark · the batteries their owners and permits name · Energinet’s markets to September 2026

Denmark’s owners and permits name 19 batteries operating, 304 MW, and 371 MW more being built. No Danish body publishes the list.

No Danish body publishes a list of the batteries on the grid: the Danish Energy Agency’s register holds them but publishes only wind turbines one by one, and Energinet’s data has no battery field. So this map is the batteries named in owners’, developers’ and builders’ own releases and in municipal and environmental permits: 67 of them, every fact with its source beside it. 19 are operating, 15 are being built, 12 hold a permit or an investment decision and 21 are announced. The Danish Energy Agency counted 112 MW of new large-scale batteries registered in the four quarters to June 2026; the list names 50 MW with a start inside them and 66 MW more operating whose start no source gives. The Denmark page reads Energinet’s markets; every named battery has a page.

Every battery named, a megawatt and up

Largest first. Click a row to centre the map on the battery, or open its page for every fact and its source. Power and capacity are the battery’s own, as its owner, builder or permit states them, never a hybrid site’s connection. A blank means no source gave it; a battery with no stated size is listed at nought and says so.
