What the sources say

Nordi (29 Sep 2026): sold a ready-to-build stand-alone project of "up to 125 MW / 500 MWh" to Enlight, next to Fingrid's Kristinestad substation, with a grid connection agreement and a long land lease from the city. Not the wind farm batteries in Kristiinankaupunki (Lakiakangas, Riskula). The trade register holds Enlight Kristinestad BESS Oy (3603518-4), renamed from LK NewCo 4 Oy on 10 Aug 2026; no source names it as this battery's company, so it is not joined. From the Vitreous Nordic feed of 26 Oct 2026, checked against the page on 27 Oct 2026.

Evidence and sources

From the owners’, developers’ and builders’ own releases, council decisions and permit bulletins, read by Vitreous and checked against the owners’ own words on 12 October 2026; a bracket such as “(Energy-Storage.news only)” in a field means the trade press is still the only source for it. Fingrid publishes no meter, no price and no instruction per battery, so this page carries no money: what one megawatt is paid in Fingrid’s markets is on the markets page, for the whole market and never for a named battery. List id FI-B090.
