Tuovila BESS

Being built, 125 MW, in Mustasaari, owned by Enlight Renewable Energy (51%, its results); Prime Capital agreed its continued development. Every fact below is as a published source states it, with the address beside it; a field not shown is one no source gave, and nothing is guessed.

What the sources say

Etha, adviser to the deal (17 Mar 2026): Aurinkokarhu and Prime Capital agreed at the end of 2025 on "the continued development" of Tuovila, near Vaasa, "Finland's first 125 MW, 4-hour" battery, reaching the start of construction that spring. Enlight (results for Q2 2026, 4 Aug 2026) says it acquired and began building Tuovila and Pyhäsalmi, 902 MWh together, owning 51%. Four hours would be 500 MWh; no source states it as a figure, so the capacity is blank. Not Teuva (Prime Capital, from Usva). From the Vitreous Nordic feed of 26 Oct 2026, checked 27 Oct 2026; Enlight's page was read by the checking agent, not reopened here.

Evidence and sources

From the owners’, developers’ and builders’ own releases, council decisions and permit bulletins, read by Vitreous and checked against the owners’ own words on 12 October 2026; a bracket such as “(Energy-Storage.news only)” in a field means the trade press is still the only source for it. Fingrid publishes no meter, no price and no instruction per battery, so this page carries no money: what one megawatt is paid in Fingrid’s markets is on the markets page, for the whole market and never for a named battery.
