What the sources say

NVE re-issued the concession to the new owner on 24 August 2026 with a condition that the battery be built and in service by 1 March 2027, or the concession lapses. The grid limit for drawing power was raised from 5 MW to 12.5 MW so the battery can charge. The builder planned to start in Q3 2026; no word yet that work has begun.
