Habitat Energy Limited
Sells into the markets for 23 units at 23 sites, 681 MW together, over the 364 days to 27 September 2026. Everything here is measured from published settlement and auction results; wholesale trading is invisible for every optimiser, not just this one. Elexon's balancing mechanism register names it on 5 of the 23; the other 18 are auction registrations, where the name is NESO's and unchecked.

What the book is made of
Performance follows portfolio shape as much as skill: a Scottish, long duration book does a different job from an English one hour book, so the mix belongs beside the money, not in a footnote.
Duration, by megawatt
Region, by megawatt
Whose batteries it sells
None of the book is its own. The 6 owners behind it are established from control filings, on the owner pages. A battery that re-registered under a new code is counted once.

One battery ran under an earlier registration with this seller for part of the year, HAB-19 until 22 July 2025. The money earned under the earlier code is in the book above; the capacity is counted once.
Registrations that moved to another seller
Habitat Energy Limited sold these batteries until the date shown; each has since re-registered under a new code with somebody else. What each earned under this seller in the window is shown here and is not in the book above; the capacity is counted on the page of whoever sells it now.

What the documents say
The register names who sells; these are the arrangements behind that, from owner and optimiser announcements, each with its kind, because an optimisation agreement, a route to market, a toll, a floor and self-trading are different products with different risk.
| Site | MW | Party and arrangement |
|---|---|---|
| Halesworth and Fordtown (Eelpower) Fordtown has no visible registration | 100 | Habitat Energy, optimisation agreement, three years, on Eelpower's Eel Dispatch platform, from 2024 confirmed source |
| Grendon, Melksham East, Melksham West (Statera developed) Melksham West is owned by Gresham House's fund | 148 | Habitat Energy, route to market, from 2024 confirmed source |
| Hallen (Voltalia) an optimiser switch | 32 | Limejump (Shell), then Habitat Energy, optimisation from August 2022; Habitat sells from July 2026, from 2026 confirmed source |
Attribution. A unit belongs to whoever the market registers as its seller today, so a book that changed hands mid year credits the whole year to the current seller. The exception is a battery that re-registered under a new code: it is counted once, under the code it runs on today, and where the earlier code sold through somebody else that seller keeps what it earned. We have recorded optimiser switches since 27 August 2026 and the record deepens from here. Corporate families are not joined: a platform selling through several registered entities appears as several rows on the optimiser list.
