Australia is a market in testing. Vitreous is reading AEMO’s NEM Generation Information file, published about quarterly, which lists every existing, committed and proposed generation and storage project in the National Electricity Market as its participants report them on a schedule and checking what it says, and publishes nothing from it until the data passes the same checks as Great Britain’s.

The Australian National Electricity Market publishes its pipeline project by project and its fleet unit by unit, which few markets do. It is being read because the history cannot be rebuilt later; whether Vitreous publishes it is a separate decision.
